As the need for renewable energy becomes essential, renewable energy exchange platforms are being developed and established in smart grids. With the proliferation of technologies such as the Internet of Things-based smart home, interconnected grids and blockchain, Envenergreen has introduced a variety of innovative applications and solutions for efficient system maintenance. In a blockchain-based smart home, it's impossible to construct transaction data generated using blockchain. With these forgery-proof transactions, the local miner who centrally processes all the transactions generated in the smart home recovers energy information. Based on this information, we propose a renewable energy exchange platform using Ethereum's smart contract to guarantee secure energy exchange automatically without third-party intervention in a microgrid.
